Location

Denbigh is conveniently placed for access to major cities, with Bangor, Manchester and Liverpool approx an hour away, and the nearest train station at Rhyl - 20 mins by car, or 40 mins by bus.

For future, longer events (2019), there are also international airports at Manchester and Liverpool for those who want to come from afar. 

​

From London it's possible to get an ADVANCE direct Virgin train from London Euston to Rhyl in 2hrs 35, for as little as £23, but you have to pick wisely. Average prices, on the day, are much more (£45-90), and you don't want to consider peak fares. Prebooking will also get you power sockets and a table.

There are supermarkets (Lidl, Aldi, Morrisons, Co-Op), hardware stores (Jewson, Travis Perkins, Townsend) and general home goods shops (Home Bargains). There is a bike shop for last minute repairs and spares.

The race base is at Open Door Adventure in Bont Newydd, just outside Denbigh itself.
